Tring to learn about this se pro tuner,, first off,,,i dont have a laptop,,,, can i plug in my tuner to the bike,,, record my ecm,,, then unplug it and take it to my home pc,,, down stairs,,and adjust things,,,then take it back up to bike , and up load,, or do i need the laptop , tuner, and bike all running as one....thanks,,, im sure there will be more questions

THANKS RIGIDTHUMPER,,,,, I guess I want to plug the orange VCI into my bike,, have it record whats in there,,,un plug it and take it to my home pc,, and have it all right there,, i just want to fatten it,,,richen it one or two notches,,, then plug it back into bike,,and upload it ,,,, i thought that's how they worked,,,,, but now i learn all 3 have to be hooked up at once

You can do all that, but during transfer (of recorded data, the old map, or the new map), everything has to be plugged in, key on, run/stop switch in the run position. Once the transfer is complete, you can put the VCI in record mode, disconnect the VCI from the computer, and go ride/record data. When you come back, reconnect to the PC/laptop, download the info to the computer, & disconnect from the bike. You can then view the data, and manipulate the map as desired.

Couple of quick questions guys. I have my Pro Street tuner on order and awaiting on it to arrive. First off is the software Windows only or is there a Mac download as well? Second Harley says that the cable kit (41000018) is unavailable. Anyone have the cable kit that they are willing to sell?
