The tuner they'll make you buy is theirs and get used to the heat as long as you're using the Screamin Eagle tuner.

Default Best way to reflash stage 1 tune and start over from there?

I want to start my tuning over again with the base stage 1 tune file. I did a few street tunes so i want to know the best way to start again clearing out old data and starting over fresh. I want the tuner clean of of session data as well as the PC software.
what is the best way to do this and is there a reason i shouldn't?
Thanks everyone

Just load the stage 1 calibration you started with. Simple as that.

what about the saved calibrations in the software. Also, isn't there some data logging information taking up space in the street tuner?

Those are files saved to a folder on your computer, not in your way at all.

so the info save to the tuner during a street tune is not still on the device itself?
The reason i wanted to remove old files onthe PC is to avoid confusion for myself moving forward.

When you finish a record run and dump it to the computer, that is where it is. That way, you make your corrections to your tune, upload the "new" tune to the bike, do some more record runs and do the process over again, Since it only records about 15 minutes of data, it takes a lot of record runs to make a complete tune. It takes 10 sec. to record a spot (rpm X load) and you need to do it for every 100 or 250 rpm segment and multiple gears to get a great tune.

While you are riding, it would be hard to do unless you put tape around the throttle and put hash marks on the tape, and hold each division for 10 sec. before going to the next, do it in 2nd gear, and again in 4th gear. Once your done and download to the computer, you'll see which cells took, and which ones you need to hit still.
