SEPro/SEStreet Tuner Information Thread

Just an fyi for any SE Pro Super Tuner users and the lack of base maps for anything but SE hardware. The stage 2 map for SE 211 cams is a really good starting point for anyone running the S&S 570 cams. Finally got the cables from Surdyke yesterday to start smart tuning now.
If my bike came with the SE street tuner I'd be buying the powervision instead but the super tuner is a good tuner. Just a lack of tuners that can tune with it apparently. They all want you to spend another $500 on the powervision.
The local dealer has a tuner that prefers it tho and was trained on the dyno with it. I'm going to see how good I can do first and get it close.

You dont need smart tune to make the timing changes for you. Changes can be made based on the data it gathers. You might be surprised just how close you can tune your motor based on this data. Head temps, fuel mileage, idle/acceleration smoothness and power all go together. Listen to what your motor is telling you. It will make the difference between spending an hour on a dyno and spending 4 hours.
You don't necessarily want to leave the VE table changes entirely up to smart tune either.

Ended up using the 1690 stage 2 with SE 204s and smart tuning from there. Got it running real good after a couple smart tune runs. Smooth down to 1800rpm which is lower than I ever take it. No cam bucking. Any lower is lugging these motors anyway. My cruise rpm is 2800ish. Right about the beginning of my power curve. Downshift by 2300/2400ish. The 570s really fit my riding style and the added exhaust duration really helps keep the heat down when running the higher rpm in the lower gears/speeds and the lack of air flow.
I'll get it on the dyno soon and see how close the smart tune gets the tune. I'm going to run a couple more smart tune sessions and do a little manual tweaking from there yet. I'm betting its real close and will cut my dyno time down to an hour or so as opposed to 4. Much to the disgust of a few tuners here I would imagine given their disgust with the use of base maps and smart tuning.
I'll post before and after dyno tune pulls.

Hi folks, bit of a noob question perhaps but my speedometer is reading 5% fast, indicates 60 when I'm going 57, 100 when I'm going 95. Used 2 different GPS devices at the same time, both agreed exactly actual speed 5% less than indicated on speedometer. Has remained consistent for my first 3,000 miles so far. I also did exactly 100 miles on a long stretch of turnpike, and the trip showed 104 miles, which seems to almost match the speedo reading about 5% high. It's a 2020 Street Glide M8 107 and the dealer did a stage 1 as part of the initial accessories I purchased, so they used the Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner (kit # 41000008C) and everything else is stock/original.
I cannot find anything about a way to recalibrate the speedo or the odometer using their h-d.com/streetperformancetuner software? Are the speedo and odo linked or independent? Speedo adjustment seems straightforward on the Dynojet Power Vision tuner using the quick-tune function, on the Config tab there is a VSS adjustment setting. Does such a VSS adjustment exist on the Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner? If so, where? And would it fix both speedo/odo? And if not possible, would I have to use a PV or other tuner and just modify that one VSS setting? Any gotchas?

Thanks @rigidthumper So the dealer tech should have a way to adjust? I get why using a flash tuner voids warranty, but I'd be using it ONLY to make the VSS adjustment to be correct, since it's currently incorrect! Not looking to tweak anything else, I just want it to be accurate. I do Iron Butt rides and I want 1000 or 1500 actual miles to be indicated as such, don't want to have to worry about the discrepancy. I would think there MUST be a way for a dealer tech to adjust or recalibrate, no?

The HD SE tuner is only made for HD SE parts. It's the only warranty/EPA/DOT legal tuner, and if you want to maintain full factory coverage, you must use the approved parts for stage 1/2/3/etc ( ie: HD SE parts. ) with the appropriate SE map.

Now I use Twinscan 4- (http://www.daytona-twintec.com/twinscan3abs.aspx) Do you know anybody who has one of those close to you?
