Kinda. They update (very occasionally, like every few years) with bug fixes to the program and maps. They don't update with new versions of the program or new maps.

Its actually a real mickey mouse program, with lousy documentation and zero support. Bit like the bikes really - all flash and no go

Interesting. Not trying to go off topic here, but I've been advised to upgrade to the Thundermax to simplify the tuning as a first step to other engine mods.

Make sense?

Do you mean upgrade from a SEPST or upgrade from a stock bike?

Naw, from the SEPST. It'd eliminate the smart tune runs and allow wideband operation for constant closed loop operation if I wanted to drop the AFR below 14:1. Downside is the money - $800, to be exact.

I think it would be a waste of money on a Harley. You will likely end up with little different performance or MPG.

Of course, if you have $800 to **** away and can be bothered then go dip your bread. But don't be surprised if it actually makes an unnoticeable difference.

What is the current version of the software for the SEPST? A part number would be great.

I've kinda been out of the loop.

32111-13

you'll like the new features such as Smart Tune Live, Interpolate, etc.

My *assumption* is you are looking for a custom map?

May I offer a piece of advice? I ran the 009SAH002 until I switched to the 044SDH004 mapping as a starting point. From my notes the 009SAH02 had the least aggressive spark advance vs the 044SBN - 044SDH series. The SBN was right in between the two for advance.

I had absolutely no detonation history with that map (044SDH) under multiple hard runs. Plus I could richen up a bit.

I run a S&S551 cam and ended bumping it a bit from there.

Start with the 044SDH map. I found I ended doing very little bump (spark) from there (using a dyno) to match my cam.

Food for thought.

Default Spt map

I'm installing SE255 cams in my Bros 2007 EG. It has the stock 96 with high flow air filter and SE110 slip ons. I mistakenly bought the SPT cause it looked like the SEST I bought for my bike and its already married so no returns. It looks like the only thing I can change is the VE and the only maps that are available for 07 are not even close to this config. How do I find a better selection of canned maps to start with. I've already updated the software to no avail.
