Before selling, do a physical check just to be sure your 07 wasn't a late build.

WOW! Not even close.
The 07 is under the rt side cover and the 08 is under the seat, the pins were completely different.
What got this compatibility question going in the first place was that I was reading a "for sale" ad that had a model # 805-510 that also fit the following:805-511, 807-511, 810-511,
811-511, 812-511, 813-511 and 814-511.
This lead me to believe that the unit could be used across the board as long as the appropriate map (and pin connectors) were used.
