Just bought a used bike. It has some form of slip-ons and a S/E high flow air cleaner. Is there and way to tell if it has a tuner installed?

Well, without being too obtuse, yeah. Look for it. Under the seat or a side cover is about the only place it could be. Now, the stock computer could have been flashed by a dealer, and you'll have to take it to them or an indy with good computer skills to have them tell you its state of tune. But an aftermarket tuner is an obvious device, usually with the makers name on it.

If it was done with a H-D race tuner the previous owner should have given you the connector. If its a Power Commander it would most likely be behind you left side cover and you would need to remove the saddlebag too.

You will not see any sighns of a SERT, SEST, SEPST or a TTS or a dealer download. Like you said, you can see P/C's and other devices plugged into the ECM. It could have a whole differn't ECM, like a Thindermax. Or it might have XIED's.

If you can't find any physical signs of Fuel Management, you have to have the ECM calibration read. A dealer can do this with digial tech or an Indy with a dyno can use any SERT, SEST, etc. to read the calibration off it.

Seem to run fine but it's been too cold here to put any miles on it. I looked under the seat so I guess next place to look is behind the left side cover.
