throttle by wire harness question
Just got my Monkey bars wired through and I have a puzzle about the two pin AMP connector off of the throttle harness.
I cant find or remember where this dumb little bugger connects to. HELP!!!
Also, I had a bastard of a time releasing the pins from this connector and have another set of bars to do this fall. Any help here would be appreciated as well.

I believe what you are describing is the connector for if you have heated grips. If you don't, then the two wires/connector are unused. For taking the pins out I use a little tool I made out of one of them crappy little miniature screwdrivers. I rounded off the end to use as a pin tool. It works great. Some use a paperclip. First you have to release the lock in the middle of the connector and then release the pins with the tool while pulling from behind.

Actually, I think the black connector is for cruise control (heated grips would lead to both grips I would think?)... I could be wrong... but on my RK with no cruise (or heated grips), the black connector inside the handle bars connected to nothing. It was the green connector only that was connected.
