Default 2007 fuelpak?

I just put slip ons on my 2007 street bob and was wondering if the vance and hines fuelpak is available to buy. Will the fuelpak work even though you dont have vance and hines pipes. I dont wanna pay $150 for a dealer tune because im gonna buy some vance and hines pipes when there available. How hard is it to install the fuelpak?

Hi Bobby,
I would say your best investment would be a SERT or a Powercommander.
For the 200.00 more dollars it would be your best dollar spent, especially for the long term modifications.
I'm partial to SERT, for 2 reasons.
1) because my pc crapped out, and I honestly think a piggyback device dosen't react as fast as values comming straight from the ECM.
2) I found the SERT more user friendly and easily adjusted (Even though it's not on the fly)
I tuned my bike with the SERT by the seat of my pants and some plug reads and after the PC, I feel like I have a new bike.

There are tuners from both sides of the fence on these units one, so this is just my opinion.

V&H Fuelpaks are available for 07's and you do not need to have V&H exhuasts to use them. Check out some posts here on the forum from "gunrunner" as I think he has been exploring that issue and is going to go with the Fuelpak.

I just ordered a Fuelpak for my '07 Ultra. Per the V&H website it looks straight forward installation and programming wise.

I know we have different bikes but I will let you know how my installation goes.

Love it. I had just put on the slip ons only for about two weeks and left the duals in the garage because I was worried about noise and putting them on, but I bit the bullet and put on the duals, big sucker and fuel pak and love it.

It's a good unit that's easy to install but it has limited support and recommended settings. It has 3 pots for adjustment as compared to the other units of the same type that have 4 and the HD unit has even more pots (HD Feuler), the extra is the crossover from low to high on the pots on the other units. It's a good unit if you aren't going big on the mods.
