Default Started, backfired, wont fire.eas?

I have been having the problem of intremittent firing on one cylinder, got worse. Was going to check it out, started it, fired on one cylinder, backfired, wont start. It cranks, but wont fire up. Any ideas? Tp 107 ci, single fire dual coil, crane ignition module, compufire coils.
Thanks again,
zen

Check your plugs. Also check all your ignition system wiring and connections for shorts out bad grounds. Try some known good plug wires and coils. If the plugs are fouled, it's either because you need a dyno-tune, or are using the choke (I never use mine unless the air temp is below freezing). The Crane Hi-4 has problems with failing when hot, too.

I changed the plugs, fired up on the first crank. The bike was cold, I didnt touch the throttle or use the choke....this makes me think the choke may be partially stuck open at the carb, going to check it out.
Thanks for your input!

It wouldn't hurt to rebuild the carb while you are at it. Kits are cheap and it's easy to do.
