I have been enjoying riding my new Sporter 883 (1993). Recently I had a situation where it started running erratically and the instrument panel went dim (it was in the daytime so I don't know about the headlight) after about a minute the problem went away. I checked the condition of the battery terminals and they seemed fine. Checked the connections on the main switch and they seemed tight and clean. The problem has not occured since. In the back of my mind I am concerned every time I mount up. Anyone ever experince this problem? Thanks Doug
