Default Electrical problem

Hello to everybody.

I have a 99 FXST (Evolution) and I need help.

This morning I've drived my bike. When I have stopped it and I've tried to start again, there's no electrical signal when I put the dash in IGNITION. When the dash is in ACCESSORIES, I can see the front and rear light and the electrical speedometer works.

I've seen the four fuses (15 A each one) and all of them work. In the fuses box, near them there's a black piece (I think this is the main electrical fuse), but i don't know which could be the problem with it.

Can anyone help me to look for the trouble?

Thanks a lot

JAVI

Bon jour,
The battery is good; the fuses are good. Check the wiring at the starter button and the switch that the button operates. See if it will start if you jiggle the wires.

The battery was broken, that was the problem. I've got a new one and now I can ride.

Thanks for your help.
