What type of alarm system or security is the best?

I'm sorry xdanny....just had to say that...please forgive me. I learned a long time ago that if people want to steal something....they will steal it no matter how you have it locked or alarmed. I just lock mine with the key and let the insurance company worry about the rest of it. A disc lock would prevent somebody from just riding off with it, or at least make them have to work a little for it. Professional bike thieves just pick them up and throw them in a truck or trailer.
