Only thing I did with the CKP was wipe it off. Think that may be causing this?
I would hate to say yes and have you throw more parts at it - but I had a similar issue where it would idle down real low usually when I would come to a stop. Can't say for sure whether a cylinder shut down or not. Sounded like it was going to cut off. I would crack the throttle and try to get it to idle higher but that didn't work. Once I turned it off and started it back up again it would be fine for a little while. The dealer replaced the CKP and I never had another issue with it.

Well.....only got a few more sensors to go before I replace em all....lol
since this problem was not present before ECM replacement, I think I will check continuity on the IAC and CKP wires. I will also check the connections up to the ECM harness and make sure the pins are seated properly.
Then if it still stalls out on me....new CKP
Continuity checks done, all connections look good and clean, ECM IS new for sure. I also used my jewelers screwdriver and pushed the female connectors a little closer together on the IAC plug for better contact with the pins.
Hooked battery back up and will do a test run shortly.
