LED turn signals

LED turn signals
Have any of you had any problems with LED turnsignals on your Harleys? I put a set on my '91 FXLR, the 4way flashers work but when I try to use either the right or left turn signal they just come on but won't flash. The only thing I can come up with is because the LED has less of a draw it may not be enough to activate the flasher unit. With all four lights coming on for the 4way flasher it's enough draw but not with only two lights with the turn signals. What do you think?

You will definetly need a load equalizer. I bought rear LEDs from Chromeglow at Carlisle last week. The guy from CG told me that if you only swap out a pair of your signals they will work without the load equalizer 9 times out of 10...... and mine do.
But he also said that if you replace all 4 signals you ABSOLUTELY need a load equalizer.
By the way.... the LED bulbs are awesome. The guys I ride with gave them rave reviews. I'll now be doing the front signals too.
These things aren't cheap but they are WELL worth the extra cash.
