Default turn signal issues

hi everyone, i have an 84 ironhead that's giving me some problems with the left side directional. first the rear one wouldnt work so i tested the bulb and found that under the fender the wire had been cut and attempted to be repaired by the previous owner but the wire pulled out of the connector, i connected the wires and now my front turn signal does not work... any ideas?

That wire you fixed may have had a short in another location. I have found most turn signal issues to be ground problems, keep checkin them wires.

If you have a short it were the insulation rubbed off or melted off. So were the wire can rub against something or isn't tied down properly and is resting on something hot.

Most of the wires on your bike join up in the headlight, then, if it is a stock harness, run in a big bundle down the left side, under the tank, then spread to their respactive goals.
