Heres a question for the group, what exactly does a stage one download do? I have a stock 06 RKC and just bought some new Rolling Thunder Slip-ons and a PCIII. How does the Stage 1 and PCIII get along? And I am assuming I have to get the download from the dealer and it will cost me an arm or leg, is it worth it?

Jeff - we've have an 03 EG 1440 (no bore kit) with SE air filter, Hooker Tunable slip-ons, 203 cams and a PCIIIUSB. Had the Stage 1 flash done primarily to increase the rev limiter to 6200 RPM (yes, this was done before the PC rev X-tender hit the market). The DL gives me peace of mind in that, if the PC fails, I can by-pass it and safely make it home. Is it worth it....at $150 from my local dealer....probably not. Just my 2 cents worth.
