Default voltage problems

I've got an 01 road glide. Went thru a hellacious rain/hail storm a couple of weeks ago; lucky that I made it home w/o dumping the bike. A couple of days later I began to have some weird problems. The bike runs like crap, cuts out but never stalls, has a low idle to the point of almost quitting. Have been adding injector cleaner for the past 3 tanks (mileage is ~23/gal) with no change. AND I just noticed today that my voltage regulator is fluctuating between 10 and 14 volts. Don't know how long that has been happening, but the battery hasn't stranded me yet. Any ideas out there as to what could be causing this mess! Thanks in advance for input.

Bad voltage regulator? It could be the supply off the stator or the draw off the voltage regulator, but if those are fine then seems your voltage regulator is bad. The starter running should be the only thing drawing enough current to drop the voltage to 10. If the voltage regulator is sinking that current then it ought to be excessively hot, but that would be hard to judge without something to compare it to since it has fins for a reason.
