Default Hyper flash with Radiantz LED turn signals

Just got my Radiantz LED clusters for my rear signals. When I switch one of the turn signals it blinks normally for a few seconds and then gradually gets faster. I have the Biketronics Tailbones which has a built in load equalizer for LED lights already. What could be causing this???

BTW these thing rock. They are super bright. If I get rear-ended the person would have to be either totally drunk or blind.

I know when my flashers start blinking fast it means a bulb is out. Its the computer's way of telling you there is a problem. One thing you can do is to turn on your hazard flashers (hit both turn signal buttons at the same time) and leave them on for atleast 10 seconds. That will reset the computer. If you still have a problem it will start to flash fast again..if the trouble code is cleared it will not.

Did you turn your bike on when one of the bulbs were out? Or in the middle of the install? That could cause the computer to think a bulb is out. Try the flashers if everything is good to go that will fix the issue.

Ok you lost me here. I replaced the stock rear bulbs with LED clusters. When I hit the left or right signal the front and rear blink at the normal rate and then gradually start getting faster and stay at the faster speed. But I did just discover before reading your post that when I hit the hazards they all blink at normal speed. Dunno what is going on here.

Just leave those hazards on for atleast 10 seconds. I'll make it easy for you...turn on your hazards...drink a beer...turn off your hazards. Now see if your lights still blink fast.

My LEDs did the same when I put then in both front and rear and installed the equalizer. To start with they worked perfectly, but after two days they started doing EXACTLY what yours are doing.

In the end I gave up and put the stock bulbs back in the front indicators and took the equalizer off - they work fine now that I only have LEDs in the rear.

I sold the front LEDs to another guy for what I paid for them.

[sm=huh.gif] It would have to be a beer that I really didn't care for otherwise it would only take about 5 seconds[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Nope didn't work. Hope it didn't matter that I left the beer step out.
