Unhappy trouble with starting

I think I saw this before..but here goes. I have a 07sg. Sometimes it wont start...no turning over...dead. I can only start it if I turn everything off. The run button & ignition. This only happens...sometimes. I have tried just turning off run button to no avail. I checked all wires to the battery...all seem tight. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Here goes a shot in the dark. On mine I rode in the rain too mush and the terminals in the ignition switch were coroded all green ans fuzzy. I dissassembled the switch sanded all rotating contact points and coated everything with dioelectric grease. Thats all I got!

Check your crank position sensor. If it's faulty bike will not start or will run like chit.

Just above and to the inside of the wires for the stator. front right of the crank case.

tear it apart and go through it. sand the contact points and use plenty of dioelectric silicon grease. just my 2 cents.
