Magneti Marelli Tuner sugestions
The Girl friend has a 02 Fat Boy that is in dire need for a tune.
It has the magneti marelli, with a SE air cleaner and some Short Drag pips with baffles.
I'm not looking to spend alot to tune it, my Scoot is first.
I'm looking at the PC's from Fuel Moto, or the RideMax, or ????
Any EXPERIENCE, Thoughts or Idea's

My buddy's 02 Road Glide would not tune correctly with the PC3, even after three dyno tries by three different tuners. He finally took it to a small indy guy that is a tune master and was told to take off the PC3 and put on a SERT. They tuned it with the SERT and it has run near perfect ever since.

Softails never were fitted with Magneti-Marelli fuel injection. It has the Delphi FI which is better. TTS Master tune or Power commander will do the job. You could also use a simple fuel adding device such as a DFO. I have a SE Race fueler on my Ultra. Very similar to a DFO. The bike has SE air cleaner, SE-204 cams and SE Slip on mufflers. It runs good and I set it up myself with no dyno tune. I could probably get a little more if I had it tuned with something else on a dyno but it will do for now.

Magneti-Marelli still makes the throttle bodies for the new system. The ECM is a Delphi unit. The early systems were entirely MM. The DFO (digital fuel optimizer) also known as a TFI is a unit that lets you control the amount of fuel supplied at different rpm ranges.

The adjustments are made with a small screwdriver and you don't need to hook up to a computer. It usually works well when you only have minimum changes to the stock set up.
Hope this helps.
