Cables are $39 and software is $29. Print the smart tune guide and follow it step by step and do several data runs with different riding styles. It should get you pretty close. To get near perfect you will want to have a reputable tuner dyno it. One thing to mention is to turn ignition and run switch on for conection to the VCI the manual doesnt really make that clear.

 

thanks for the info, i will be getting the software and cables soon, the dealer loaded a map in it when they installed it, i would have thought the would have done the smart tune to the bike since there was not a map that matched the build i have.
