Default Power Commander Decel Adjustment

Seems like I remember someone saying something about adjusting column one to help reduce the decel popping you get if the bike goes lean after releasing the throttle. Can someone give me some pointers on this adjustment and how much plus or minus on the fuel percentage. Thanks in advance.

Adding fuel to the 0% throttle cells should help reduce decel. Email Power Commander and get the scoup from the horses mouth @ tech@powercommander.com. They may even have a 1 800 tech support number you can call.

I put 25 in for the 0 throttle position at 1250 - 4750 RPMs. No more decel popping. I don't know about fuel milage affects yet, but I can't see how it will really hurt it at the 0 throttle position... I would rather loose .1 gpm vice have the popping. Last fillup I was getting 45.3 mpg.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try this evening. I'll also email tech to see what they have to say about the issue. I know I don't have any pipe leaks and I've had the bike dynoed so I think it's a relatively minor adjustment.

I am interested in adjusting the PCIII as well. Since the 0 throttle position column is currently all zeroes, wouldn't it be better to start with a smaller number than 25? 25 is a pretty big jump over stock. Maybe try reducing it until the popping reappears, then bump it up a notch. It may save you some gas.

I started with mine adjusted to 25 and them reduced it until the popping came back. I them bumped it back up by +5. I am running at 15 in the zero colum with very minimal popping. I am getting about 41-43 mpg with a stock map recommended by DynoJet for my set-up.

My entry was solely based on what I got from tech support at dyantech. I have not played with bumping it down yet... but probably will soon.

I just had my 05 Road Glide dynoed for my Rinehart True Duels. The tuner put +20 in the left column for my decel popping. It turns out that all the popping was comming from the rear cylinder only.

I started out small and put a 5 in column one from 1500 to 3500. It hasn't done much, but mine is popping that much either. My stock map M805-201 has 8 for 500, 750, and 1250 already. I will increment mine up to 10 or 15 and see if it has any effect.

Do you just highlight the box and type in a value...I'm not sure I know how this is done?

Any help is appreciated.
