I'll swear by the AGM! best battery I have ever seen for a bike! I got one 3 years ago,after going through 2 stock gel batteries in 3 years<original only went 1 year before it shorted out!>,the one I got came with a 2 yr warranty,unlike the stocker's 30 days...
I haven't done anything to take care of this battery so far,except to charge it when it gets low in the winter,never removed it from the bike,left it on the bike in the cold and everything!

Bohannon Battery has the Deka ETX30L for $99 shipped. The ETX30L is the HD 66010-97C in the maker's own case.
