Is it good a CV40 on TC96?
Hi there!
I want to do and EFI to carburetor conversion, using the Keihin CV carburetor but the stock 40 version.
Is it able to feed a TC96 engine?
I'm able to fine tune this carb for performance. I want just to know if it is sufficient to achieve the maximum power/torque for a TC96 with only a Steg 1 mods.

I think that CV is a good carburetor when it's well tuned.
And it's so cheap to find this days.
And carburetor conversion is something people like, because it's nostalgic, permits you to easily change idle speed, and it has all of that old timer defects many people want on this bikes.
I want to show into my Harley forums and communities I write, how its possible to do an EFI to carb conversion with only $500.
I already have intake manifold with MAP sensor, CV rebuild kit, CV tuning kit, tank pingel adaptor and pingel petcock.
I want to use the stock ECU for spark timing, because I know a guy who converted his bike but didn't change or add any spark advancer unit and didn't change stock map into the stock ECU.
Here what I've:

I have a project TC96 that I am putting together and it came with a CV40 and intake off of an EVO. I intend to run a carb and a thunderheart ignition.
Can you tell me what jets you used to tune the CV40 for you 96"?
I would like a ballpark idea of where it should be, due to the fact that I am reassemblying everything and I will have alot of factors coming into play the first time I try to start it up.
