Standard HD Down Load vs. SERT map Questions
Does anybody know if the standard HD download (34392-06) for a 06 softail using:
SE Stage 1 A/C (29773-02C)
SE II Dual Shorty slip on mufflers (80375-00)
uses the same maps as the default maps in the SERT kit given the same Stage 1 A/C and slip on mufflers? Or has the standard HD download been tweaked?
Q1:
I ask this question because I have the standard HD download and am getting some popping on decelerating. I just ordered the SERT (32107-01E) and was wondering if the default map for my exhaust system within the SERT software is the same as the standard download from HD?
Q2:
Can the SERT read the existing maps loaded into the EMC if I want to start with the HD standard download and then tweak the deceleration enleanment table?
Q3:
Another question. On the labeling of the standard HD download module I have, it makes mention of 25 degrees, the angle of the fuel injectors, as apposed to 18 degrees. Since the labeling states the degree, I thus assume the map is generated specially for 25 degrees. But with all the reading I've done on the SERT, including reading the pdf version of the SERT manual, I've never read anything that a map comprehends the angle of the injectors. Do maps comprehend the angle of the injectors? Seems like they should?

RE: Standard HD Down Load vs. SERT map Questions
141NP002 25 degree
141NP101 8 degree
PM me if you need them....you should have them with the latest G version CD that will arrive with your E version sert.
You want to eliminate popping, add VE value increments at the 0 map above 2750 RPM's until the popping goes away. Might take several increments.
