Get a multi meter and test the battery. the more your bike gets ridden, the longer the battery will last usually. It is not always true, but our shop guys ride almost everyday and their batteries usually last about 5 years. If you are concerned that it might die, replace it. That is cheap(relatively) insurance that you will not get stranded somewhere. A prime example of this is my wife's bike. She does not ride it all that often, and her battery went dead several years before mine which gets ridden almost daily.

Walmart has a battery tender for motorcycles that is made by Schumacher that comes with the quick connect pigtails for $19.95. I've been told that trying to squeeze every mile possible out of a battery on a HD is not good. I've heard you can knock out the whole charging system that way.

The OEM battery is still in my 2007 Ultra and still going strong.
I think most motorcyle batteries only have a 90 day warranty.

Thanks
Will lose radio settings.
