has anyone used the smart tune feature of the latest SEST software? and if so, was it user friendly...?

 

I've read that smart tune currently doesn't work nearly as well as the TTS Vtune feature and that it is hard to tell what its doing, and therefore manage/understand the map changes.

It seems to be easy to use, the data is recorded on the dongle as you ride. However. SEST still seems to have bugs and is plagued with computer freezes and annoying crashes for many. When it locks up you have to start over. So if you don't mind the crashes, it is user friendly.

 

Very Easy for me to use... Pretty accurate also... But not perfect...prolly 98%

Downfall, Still no Spark Table Mods, just VE/Lambda...

I have used Mastertune, Spart Tune, Tunelink.... They all work....

As far as computer freezes, crashes, etc.. I have never had that issue, But my Tuning PC is in the Dyno Room, and not in a backpack...
