although i have ridden harleys for 35 years don't know much about EFI . I have a race tuner on my bike. I was riding on the interstate today at about 80 mph when all of a sudden bike started an occassional miss pulled off at next exit shut bike off and resarted sill missing rode a mile to pull over let sit a while, started up no miss but idle was as high 3000 rpm sut off and started and idled fine. Have a little bit of play in throttle cable could this be the problem, I know the ECU mointors throttle postion. thank for any and all help

 

What year and model? Has the engine light come on? If you have software for tuner you may be able to plug into laptop and see what is going on.
