Default Hypercharger question

I got a brand new Kuryakyn Hypercharger as a gift. I know some of you hate them, that's fine. I can't return it, it has to go on the bike. I have a 2003 Ultra with Stage 1 kit and it's fuel injected. Here's my question;;;;;;
can I just mount the hypercharger and be done, or do I need to take it to the shop and have it mapped?
Thanks !!!

I don't think it will flow any better than the stage 1 you have now, so it should be fine. My view only of course. Before installing it go all over the small screws in there and consider a loctite treatment.

You will have different AFR depending on wind direction. Computers w/o O2 sensor cannot be programmed to deal with it .
You will have more air if wind is in your face and less if in your back.

For anyone viewing this thread in the future.....just do it.....my 2003 Ultra has a stage 1 kit and I installed the Kuryakyn Hypercharger and it runs just fine, the same as before the install. I didn't install this for extra power, which is a good thing, because there ISN'T any extra power. I installed it simply because of the looks, I HATED the Harley football air cleaner.
