I bought a non-running 99 Ultra. Beside damage it had missing starter and clutch parts. After I received and installed ordered parts I noticed that clutch nut is missing too! One more week waiting until I try to start it!
today I decided to check if voltage is going to starter and it didn't! More fun!
I found that wire is broken between start switch and starting relay.
I am pretty sure it is after market alarm system, so I am going to disable it (to steal my own bike)
My question is it possible to use alarm system if I don't have remote for it? Can I order it from manufacturer?

 

What leads you to believe that it's an aftermarket alarm system?

 

99-2000 didn't have turn signal module with security according to my manual.
Can it still be Harley system?

 

Car5, I wouldn't waste the money on any alarm sysytem repair. An alarm system won't be of much value, or prevent the theft of anything that can be picked up or rolled way.

 

It could have been added, but still be an HD system. If you check on the HD website you will see where you can add it to 97-99 tourers
