RE: hooking up power commander
John,
The Power Commander is a breeze to hook up. Just take your seat off and plug it in. You will have to program it. It will run out of the box but it won't be programmed to what your sit up is. Check with the manufacturer...they are great to work with.

Go to the Power Commander Web Site and they have sample Maps for different variations of what your have done to the bike, such as Pipes, Stage 1, etc. Just takes a Laptop or PC with a USB cable and the program is supplied with the Module to make your changes.
I have one and it is amazing the difference it makes..

It come pre-programed for a stock set-up. It is easy to install as download the disc into your computer. Pick a map that reflects your set up.(air filter, pipes) and transfer that map to the PC. Flow the direction exactly...they are easy. I did mine in about 1/2 hr. It does fit under the seat. There is a map #180 that is for the Bigshot staggered's , SE air filter or ness big sucker and stock ECM. It is for a 2004 big it make a heck of a difference in the bike.
