I have an 08' ultra, the spot switch does not illuminate nor do the lights come on with it? Everything else works fine. Any suggestions?

Could be a loose or unplugged wire, bad ground, a faulty switch, etc. I suggest using a 12v tester or multimeter and checking the entire circuit. Pull the fairing and make sure the spots are plugged in the two connectors that they are supposed to be. Then pull the ignition and pull off the fairing switch cap to check the switches.
