Default Aftermarket ignition ?

I have an 05 FXDL with a SE ignition module, Mikuni HSR 42 carb, SE high flow air kit & V&H 2-1 pro pipe HS. Is it worth doing an aftermarket ignotion such as a Dyna or Crane?

Default RE: Aftermarket ignition ?

you allready have one. the SE. but to answer ur ?.yes. SE modules are good but all they do is raise ur rev limit. if ur just goin to keep it stg 1 then the SE is fine. or if u want alitte more accurate firing etc. then a basic crane or dyna plug-in is good. but if u plan on future mods then i would say get a pc programmable unit.
right now i'm debating over the thunder heart stand alone programmable ignition or the crane programmable.again it depends on what ur plans are.hope this helps.
jay.
