This is my first visit to the forum. Looks Great! I bought an '07 1200R sportster two weeks ago. It has 5800 miles on it. Today (less than 200 miles later) the engine light came on. From this forum I learned how to pull the codes ( Thanks!!). It came up P0107 Map sensor open/ low EFI. Does anyone know if it actually would need a Map sensor at this milage? My auto mechanic experience indicates that map sensor codes can sometimes really be indicators of other problems which manifest themselves as Map out of perameters indications. Has anyone seen this problem on an '07? I work right next to an HD dealer so I will check with them tomorrow but I suspect I will hear " Bring it in for a $ 100.00 check out". Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide. I expect I will be spending alot of time on this sight.
