Guess auto tune ain't what it's cracked up to be......

With what you are doing (Rev it up and release the throttle), you are richening it up and then shutting down the revs, but the extra fuel is unburnt, and finally ignites in the pipe... It is called decel pop....

You need to get the proper mapping for the decel popping to stop... Either your accel fuel is too high, or your 0% fuel is too low....

How long have you given the auto tuner to learn the bike?

Could you have a bit of an exhaust leak along the rear pipe? Any little way that air can get in will provide O2 to light off the mix. Can you see any light as you look in the tailpipe?

The bike tunes itself usually best if you ride it in 30 minute increments. So, four half hour rides is better than one 2 hour ride. If you have selected as less than ideal map, the tuner has a limit to how much it will learn and correct the map. Check with tech support on you map.

"From Power Commander site HD FAQ---Open the map you are currently using. In the 0% TP column from 2,000 RPM and higher enter a value of 20. Click upload and ride the bike. Often this is the only change that is required. You can also add a value of 10-15 in the 2% column from 3,000 RPM and higher (in addition to the 0% adjustment).

Also replace you exhaust gaskets, could be a leak there too.
