I have an 07 dyna street bob and when I go to start my bike, the run switch will squirt fuel in the motor but when I try to hit the start button it wont start and the lights just flash like i don't have my key in the ignition and the bike isn't recognizing that the alarm sensor is on the key. The motor won't turn over at all so I know its not the battery as I tried a jump start already. Please help.

Also, dumb question but did you check the battery in your key fob? Perhaps it is dead.

 

I checked the service bulletin and went to the hd dealer to get it done and they said it was not for my bike. So I got a battery and replaced it in the fob and still same problem. I can get the bike to start 1 out of 5 times and it helps if I shake it. Very weird, any ideas? I freakin hate all this high tech crap, why can't they just make it with a key and ignition and let me ride?
