Default Adjusting idle mixture MM

I was told that there was a way to adjust the mixture on the the older MM injections systems. I have the cold and warm set up and have a steady idle, but rough. I can't seem to find anything via searches that addresses the mixture adjustments. If anyone knows how to accomplish this, or has a reference to the adjustment I would appreciate it.

Remove the air filter cover and 2 epoxied covered screws above the butterflies, don't know which way to turn them. Seems to be a secret and anything I have heard or read has been trial and error, document origonal screw head locations and tweak.
