Default SERT part number question

I have a 04 Dyna Super Glide, and I am looking into getting one of the older SERT modules for it. I see various part numbers listed and want to make sure I get the right one.

I have seen 32107-01G and 32107-01C and various other ending letters inbetween. The -01C lists 04-later Dyna on the package.

What number do I need for my 2004? Would the -01C work or do I need the latest and greatest?

Thanks!

The letter version really just deals with the software version that comes with it. The later versions didn't include software at all! The dongle and cables are the same from the beginning to the end. So I would expect that if you bought the c version and there is not a calibration listed for your bike, the worst thing you would need to do would be to find a later version of the software. There are a few copies laying around everywhere and you can also pick them up on eBay pretty cheap.

I purchased an older version of the SERT from eBay about 2 months ago. This was an original version and we used the latest software to update the motorcycle. No issues were encountered.

As a tip, if you search ebay (use the advanced search and search the title and description) change the letters at the end of the part number through L and you may find one. Using the plain part number does not always result in a find.
