Cool Custom maps for EFI

Let me start with my problem then I will get to my question. I have a slightly modified motor consisting of true dual exhaust, K&N AC, 103 CI with 103+ heads, S&S 510 gear driven cam, I started with pro super tuner then went to PC III. I have the problem that I think is very common, high heat and poor gas mileage. I have a 50mm throttle body I want to install which would require yet another remap and I am tired of paying for Dyno time. What luck would I have in going back to the pro super tuner with wide band o2 sensors, or would I have better luck staying with the PC III. I'm trying to reduce engine heat by tuning it out, is that a possibility?

I don't think that's a sales pitch. TTS is most capable tuning device on the market. Without external monitoring devices it is the only one that will get you close to a dyno tune.

Not a sales pitch at all. I dont sell them, and wont recommend someone that does. A million vendors sell them and I dont have single one that I like more than any other. You want me to answer your question, fine. Can you tune out engine heat, yes. Can you do it without the use of a dyno, yes. Will you achieve this with the PCIII, I dont believe so. Is a tuner that uses the wide band 02 sensors more likely to get you where you want to be, yes. AFIK the pro super tuner (that I know nothing about) and the TTS Mastertune are similar but the TTS allows you to control many more variables. You should research it.
Like I said, the TTS Mastertune will get you where you want to be, allow you to tune out engine heat, and make it all possible without ever having to get on a dyno. I dont give a **** if you buy one or not, its your bike, your headache, your decision.

Not a sales pitch IMO either but solid advice. You can tune some heat out and increase fuel economy with a tuner like the TTS system. If you still have heat issues try an oil cooler & a good synthetic oil as well.

I'm curious why dont think you can tune out heat with a PCIII. Can you shed some light on this?

You can tune out heat with a PCIII if you find a skilled tuner who does a lot of PC dyno work. But the TTS system is just newer technology and you can tune the bike yourself easier than with the PCIII. That's all.

exactly. you can tune heat out with the PCIII but not nearly as easily and certainly not without a dyno.
