I have an 02 Road King, stock with Stage 1, V&H 2 into 1. My bike started to spit and miss every once in a while. I always run premium fuel. The miss started happening more often. I installed a new set of HD plugs and no difference. I did notice that when I topped off my tank, no problems. I also put in some Fuel Injection cleaner. Ran okay but not 100%. Now, it takes a few attempts to start sometimes. I went on a 80 mile run, no problems. Got home,parked then went to the store. Problems again. It will puke by the air cleaner or exhaust. I do notice that the end of the pipe looks like it's running rich (black).
I am no wrench, and have been out of work for a while so taking it to the Stealer is not an option right now. Would appreciate any help at all. Oh, forgot to state that I have a PC III installed. Thanks again.
