SE's are made by aHarley... They are designed for it....

What version is your ICM?... Is it updated to the -04C????

Next time you go by a HD shop, ask them to validate and update your ICM.....

Or do it on your next svc (If you have the dealer do it), and TELL them to update it......

If yours hasn't been done, you are 2 versions behind.....

Bob can you explain this, what is the ICM???

Also, you talked about spark plugs, you mean to tell us that we have to run Harley Plugs only? From my understanding the HD plugs are made by champion, so why not just run champion plugs without the HD branding??

If you are concerned about performance, I can tell you that stock plug wires work fine for ANY build. If you want to spend more money on fancy ones, that's your option, but they aren't required.

Try running Split-Fires, AC Delco, or any other brand.... They will screw up the ECM/ICM Tuning, and will pop a CEL..... Normally "No combustion Detected Rear Cyl"....

I do not know who manufactures them, but remember, the ECM/ICM has to monitor ENGINE PERFORMANCE... not our definition of performance....

Kinda like the Planetary alignment... Certain components HAVE to be used, or someting will go awry....

ICM is Ignition Control Module....

Starting in 04, HD Carb'd bikes have "Updateable/Programmable" ICM's that can be reflashed similiar to ECM's.....

I'll stick with the SE colors. That way if there is any problem Harley will have to fix it.
