Help with warm idle adjustment
I have a 2000 Road king classic, with a low warm idle. I read posts and service manual related to adjusting idle. I get it. Both the manual and posts instruct removing ecm fuse (and one other?) or disconnecting the battery for a few minutes after setting idle, to reset something. My question is, will this effect a dealer installed/downloaded(?) stage 1 cartridge settings? I bought the bike used, it had the stage 1 efi kit, and v&h pipes added, with part # 32708-99b (stage 1 cartridge) installed at same time. I know the battery has been replaced recently, and the bike runs really good, except the low warm idle, so I guess its still ok. Any benefit over removing ecm fuse vs disconnecting battery after resetting idle?
Thanks in advance....
