you can program fobs using the code located inside so the bike will pick it up and recognize it but you can't take one fobs code and give it to another one. also this is hands free you need to go to a dealer.

All of this can be done with Techno Research also. Programing FOBs, unprograming FOBs, programing TSSM's, turning security off altogether, or locking FOB's to multiple bikes. I got a customer with 4 bikes and one FOBs is locked to all of them.
A half hour of labor doesn't seem unreasonable if that is the only thing being done, but if you are already in the shop and I am doing this also? This is where repeat customers have an advantage.

Can I program myself?
This must be done when you buy a new key fob for the alarm if you loose one.
I assume you know your personal entry code using the directional switches and the key switch to activate , if not , it's in the owners manual.
If you never set the code, its 7-7-7-7-7
1. Set run switch to off
2. ign to acc
3. hold both turn sigs till lights flash
4. use left turn signal to enter number by pushing 7 times
5. use right turn signal as enter key
6. repeat until all 5 are entered and you hit enter
lights should flash and you should be OK.
KEY FOB ASSIGNMENT
The key fob on TSSM motorcycles must be set so it will operate the alarm system on the vehicle.
This assignment must be completed with no pauses between steps greater than 10 seconds.
Turn the ignition OFF after all key fobs have been assigned.
The programming mode will also exit after 60 seconds has elapsed without detecting any fob signup messages
or turn signal switch activity.
Two key fobs may be assigned to the TSSM.
The first successful attempt to program a fob will disable all previously assigned fobs.
If a second fob is to be programmed, it must be done in the same programming sequence as the initial fob.

I recently bought a 2003 Road King. I heard it has an alarm and I need the fob to activate it. I am going to go buy a fob from Harley. Can I program it myself or do I need Harley to do it. The direction's you listed above, will they work for my 03 road king?
