If you unplug the wiring harness from the ECM, will that clear stored error codes? Reason I'm asking is that I had a code for the crank position sensor. I unplugged the wiring harness and was going to troubleshoot from there according to the manual. But I took a look at the connector under the bike and found it loose. After fiddling with it, I put everything back together and fired the bike up. The code was gone now. I'm just wondering if it got cleared by me fixing the connector, or if that happens when you remove power from the ECM. Thanks.
