Question Gas light

Hello to everyone:

I have a 2009 1200 Nightster and since I had had it, the gas light comes on at about 88 miles after filling up the tank. I had it checked out by the dealer and they replaced a sensor but once again, at 88 miles, the light comes on. The tank is 3.2 gallons, for you Nightster owners, does this sound right???

Thanks and happy riding.

That does sound about right. My wife has a nightster and the fuel light comes on after about 90 miles. The light is supposed to come on with 1.1 gallons left so if you fill it up and use 2.2 gallons in 90 +/- miles you are getting about 41 mpg. She has gone over 100 miles before the light came on but that was all highway.
