From Fuelmoto. This is my first EFI Harley.I am starting to understand it better. Adding a fuel management system is like putting a carb, such as a S&S, on a carb bike. It comes set up for the for what you are running now. Down loading a map is like changing the jets on a carb. Except you use a computer and keyboard instead of a wrench and screw driver. See an old dog can learn new tricks.
PCV came in. Put it on last night. Only put bout 40 miles on it. But, I can tell a lot better performance over stock. If any one is thinking about adding one, I would recommend it.
Glad you like the PC-V. I'm ordering mine next week. In what ways do you notice the performance increase? Just wondering what to expect....
-Dave.
Dave, I notice better, smoother more responsive performance thru all rpms. A more finely tuned fuel system than stock. You are really going to like it.
Well, it's really the fueling, not the PCV itself though it is what's allowing you to change the fueling. The PCV is a real nice improvement over previous versions. It is argueably more a matter of preference than pocketbook. Which is good because it isn't cheap.

I can't wait to get it. I already have the Stage 1 download, which did not really increase performance but made the bike rideable with the new mufflers and A/C. I plan to get mine from Fuelmoto too. Take Care.

$311.00 total from Fuelmoto. PCIII is $20.00 less. Depends on what you call cheap. I don't think you will find a fuel management system that is better for less. And, total support after the sale from FM. I compare it to buying a S&S carb for a naturally aspirated Harley. Once you have the carb it can be jetted to suit the bike. Once you have the PCV or what ever system you prefer. It can be mapped to suit the bike.
