Help! Looking for a copy of SERT cd
Hey Guys,
Just installed VH sideshots and Hi-flo AC. Went with the VH fuel-pak but quickly regretted it. Bike ran really rough. So... as much as I hated the idea, I had to go into the dealer to have a SERT installed. They put a generic tune (1550 they said) into the ECM because they didn't have time to properly dyno at the time. The bike runs better but very rich now with lots of pops. The dealer gave me some story about the computer that they use being some 20k machine and that no civilian could possibly alter their tunes themselves. Thanks to HD Forums, I realized that this was all B.S. They didn't give me the CD that was supposed to come with the package although I have my cables and key. I was hoping some kind soul could copy the cd for me so I could have a go myself. I would really like to avoid paying these guys any more money. Also... if anyone knows of a specific tune that I should try I would really appreciate the info. I will send you some $ to cover cost of postage/cd.

Thanks In Advance!
P.S. Any one want a VH Fuelpak... hardly used (grrr) ... will let it go for a bargain

One more thing. Any questions about the SERT, I am sure JamieWG would gladly answer. He has sent me a few custom maps he did that I am going to try as soon as I get my SERT. So that would be tomorrow or Wednesday. Don't worry about shipping. I am going to use the postal service and it shouldn't cost more than a $1 and I already have the blanks. By the way. What bike do you have?

RE: Help! Looking for a copy of SERT cd
I just swapped out my Sporty for a 06 Standard Softail. Its a world of difference! Much smoother (great job with the 88B) but power/weight makes me miss that Sporty get-up and go. Although I swore I would keep my hands off of this one... my guess is that I will be itching for the 95 conversion until I actually give in and do it. Now... how to convince my lady that its a "justifiable" expense.... hehe... I sold her on the pipes... but this one is going to require a little more creativity. :-)

What you need to do is have them GIVE YOU YOUR Data disc.....
You paid for it.....
That dealer is a thief and a liar....
You need to take your business elsewhere....
See, it's Bravo Sierra like this stuff that chaps my azz.....

Is there anyplace you can download newer updates to the sert software? I have part # 32124-04 for 2004 carb. models and my software is version1.2.0.0 and I am sure it is out of date. does anyone know how outdated I am and if this is something you can upgrade or do you have to spend another $300 to upgrade? What is the differences between new and older versions?
