is there a way to wire 2 individual lights (say small tail lights) so that they would function as: tail, brake and turn signals?

ie. i wanna mount 2 59' cad. tail lights assemblies. under the rear fender on the the custom i'm building... the "psyco billy cadillac" of course. i'd like them to function as all 3 "required" lights.. can a wiring setup use just 2 bulbs for those 3 functions??... if so how... or should i just mod the light and a bulb??

i admittedly know 0 about wiring, but like everything else on this project.. that ain't stopped me yet!!!

Badlands and Kuryakn both make modules you can wire in to make your rear turn signals function in all three modes. One of those should work for your application.

 

There are literally millions of cars with two filament bulbs doing exactly what you want. If you are using REAL 1959 Caddy lights they will already have the correct sockets. Then buy the part that wesd41 said and you are done.

 

sweet, i was hoping that was the case, didn't know about the module though. I'm looking to use "real" ones... i have one, watching ebay for the other.. now i just need to make the bracket.
