I have an 08 SG and TTS I want to put a bigger 160 rear tire on. Can TTS adjust for this? I also have ABS and wondering if this will affect anything?

 

I don't think going from a 150 to a 160 is going to dramatically affect your tire circumference.

The real question is why. I could probably take a felt pen and write 160 on the side of your tire and you would notice the same difference as actually installing one.

 

Why-because the stock skinny tire is a joke. That's why HD put bigger tires on the 09's. The 160 is bigger and will fit and looks good. It also has a higher load rating 992#. One guy that put one on now said his speedo is now reading 10mph slower-he got a ticket. I need a new rear and I want the biggest I can put in, just want to know if TTS will correct the speed?

 

TTS matertune allows changing of factory speedo Calibration for just your issue.

Ohh one more question if I have the dealer download the ABS revision on my 08, does it matter that I have a TTS canned map in there? Will I lose it or anything? Will the dealer "see" it?

 

The dealer should see that you don't have the original calibration file on your bike, but I have no idea what the ABS revision is. Consider asking the service tech and ensure you have a copy of your latest map.
