Bike won't start and bad clutch

that is a cruel trick to play on someone. If ti won't start start with the batter, spark plugs and wires, along with the starter and work you way through all of those things. For the clutch you might want to check the cable to make sure it is not broken. Adjust it. Go from there. I am sure those articles say to do the same.

Haha...I wish that's all it is, but unfortunately it's not. Just an update on the battery. I took it to autozone today to get it tested and the guy there said the battery is fine. But I decided to get a charger anyway. I got home and hooked up the battery to the charger but the charger says it's already charged and won't do anything. I checked the battery with a voltmeter and it says it's 12.54V. According to the owners manual, that means the battery is about 75% charged. I don't get it. Is the battery fine or do I have a bum charger?

12.54 is ok. This was going to be the easy one that would get you back out on the road with the least amount of messing around. Make sure all your connections are clean and get it back in the bike, use a wire brush if you have any corrosion. Also make sure you have a good gound connection to the bike.
Is the charger you got specifically for motorcycles?

So you were right Zacharia_11, it was the battery. You should have seen the smile on my face when it fired up. And the clutch worked fine after I got the bike started up. I guess it just needed to get some oil on it. Anyways, thank you so much, and if you are ever in NYC, let me know, I'll treat you to lunch or whatever. Anyways, thanks.
